LG Electronics turned up the holiday cheer with its Joyful Clean Holiday Pop-Up, running from December 12 to 17, 2025, with the introduction of the new LG AI Washing Machines and LG Styler powered by advanced Korean technology, giving guests a special preview at LG’s next-level home innovations. Hosted by the energetic Kuk Shine, the event blended style and smart living for families and fashion enthusiasts alike, welcoming guests into a space filled with lights, music, and holiday magic at the SM Mall of Asia. The celebration also featured a special appearance by Kim Won Shik, who shared his enthusiasm for LG’s innovative products, along with a high-energy performance by Saja Boys that captivated the crowd with their dynamic dance routine.
The immersive pop-up offers hands-on experiences with LG’s latest innovations, from the LG Styler with HandySteamer™ to the LG AI Washing Machines. Visitors could see for themselves how these smart home solutions fit seamlessly into modern holiday life, making last-minute outfit prep, family laundry, and garment care effortless. The pop-up gives everyone a chance to enjoy the festive ambiance, interactive demos, and exciting surprises that make LG’s holiday celebration truly one-of-a-kind.
Mr. Nakhyun Seong, LG Philippines Managing Director, expressed his excitement and pride, inviting guests and mall-goers to explore, try, and discover how LG’s innovations can bring more convenience, care, and joy into their homes. “We’re excited to open this week-long pop-up store where you can experience the latest innovations from our new AI-powered Washing Machines and the new LG Styler. These products represent the best of Korean technology: smart, efficient, and designed to make everyday living easier, especially during the busy holiday season,” he shared.
Ms. Patricia Sioson, LG Philippines Product Manager for Washing Machines, showcased the new series of LG AI Front Load Washing Machines, 15/8kg Front Load Washer Dryer & 15kg Front Load Washer, showcasing how they simplify and optimize laundry for modern households. She shared, “LG AI washers are designed to handle bigger loads, perfect for families during the holidays. You can wash more clothes in fewer loads, and these models come with bigger capacity options. The LED model has clean, modern touch buttons, and the LCD model is very intuitive and user-friendly.”
The LG AI Front Load Washing Machines make holiday laundry smarter and more convenient. Through the LG ThinQ App, users can download the Pet Care Cycle, which helps remove pet odors and stains, perfect for households with fur babies. These washers help families get through busy laundry days faster, keeping clothes fresh, clean, and ready to wear even during the holiday season.
Patricia also showcased the LG AI Top Load Washing Machine, highlighting its smart, gentle, and effective laundry care. She shared, “Our Top Load model features AI DD™, which uses deep learning to detect the weight and softness of garments, ensuring every wash is gentle and effective while keeping clothes thoroughly clean.”
The LG AI Top Load Washing Machine is designed for busy households, with large capacities that allow more clothes to be washed in fewer loads. 6-Motion Direct Drive moves the drum in tumbling, rolling, and scrubbing patterns to mimic handwashing, while AI Wash optimizes water and detergent usage and Turbo Wash reduces wash time without compromising cleaning quality. Through the LG ThinQ App, users can access additional cycles and monitor their laundry remotely, making household chores more convenient and efficient.
Ms. Alyssa Alvarez, LG Philippines Product Marketing Manager for Home Solutions Emerging Products, showcased the LG Styler with HandySteamer™, highlighting its smart and convenient features that make fabric care effortless, especially during the busy holiday season. “The LG Styler is designed to fit seamlessly into your daily life,” she shared. “It now features a Smart LCD Touch Display, making it even easier for users to operate with intuitive controls, clear icons, and real-time monitoring.”
The LG Styler with HandySteamer™ quickly removes wrinkles from garments that don’t need a full cycle, while the EZ Fit PantsPress™ function gives trousers a crisp crease without ironing. QuickRefresh™ feature revitalizes clothes in just 18 minutes, and the AutoFresh System™ keeps garments fresh while dehumidifying your home with up to 10L capacity. It also removes 99% of dust with a gentle twisting motion, ensuring clothes are clean, fresh, and ready to wear. “We’re excited for everyone to try it and experience how it can make holiday preparations easier, faster, and more enjoyable,” Alyssa added.
Korean actor and singer Kim Won Shik also graced the event, raising the vibe for guests and spectators alike. Known for his roles in Alchemy of Souls and Reunion Counselling, as well as his performance of the official soundtrack for the Philippine adaptation of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Kim also shared his excitement about the LG Washing Machine lineup. “With my busy schedule, rehearsals, filming, and traveling, taking care of my clothes is important. That’s why I’m excited about the LG Washing Machine lineup, especially the feature that detects fabric and chooses the best wash automatically.” He also thanked LG Electronics and his Filipino fans, sending his gratitude and holiday cheer to everyone present.
Kuk Shine shared how the LG Styler has become her go-to essential, especially on busy days. “I love using the LG Styler, especially when I’m on the move,” she shared. “It keeps me polished despite my packed schedule.
