July 10, 2025 — Rising indie/alternative rock band Paham returns with “Puso”, a harana pop track that captures the ache and thrill of asking someone to let you in. What started as a song written in the aftermath of a real-life breakup has unexpectedly transformed into a love anthem—one that pulses with sincerity, emotional vulnerability, and quiet devotion.

With its poetic lyrics and stripped guitar-forward arrangement, “Puso” sounds like a confession made under the stars. Drawing inspiration from TikTok courtship videos and real conversations on love, the track is both a balm for the brokenhearted and a soundtrack for young romance.

Paham—composed of Cymon (rhythm guitar)James (lead guitar, vocals)Kian (keyboards, vocals)Yuan (bass), and Ryen (drums)—has grown from a group of classmates to one of the most heartfelt acts in the OPM scene. Known for their modern-day harana sound, the band pairs poetic storytelling with intimate arrangements. Their breakout single “Hiraya” amassed over 2 million streams, earning them spots on Spotify’s Viral 50OPM Rising, and a cover feature on Tatak Pinoy, alongside artists like SB19 and BINI.

Their self-titled debut album, released in January 2025 under Off The Record (Sony Music Philippines), is a 12-track diary of longing, reflection, and growth—written across bar gigs, campus tours, and Wish Bus stops.

Now, “Puso” marks the start of a new chapter, one marked by momentum. With bookings in proms, university fairs, and Fête de la Musique, Paham’s music is becoming a shared experience for a new generation of listeners. Listen to “Puso” now on all streaming platforms.
