Thai Pop’s Rising Star ALLY Launches Global Push with Manila Visit

MANILA, Philippines — Thai pop star ALLY (Achiraya Nitibhon) will visit Manila this month as the first stop of her international campaign for new English single “but you,” marking her official push into the Southeast Asian market.

At just 21, ALLY has emerged as one of Thailand’s most promising new-generation artists, known for her dynamic performances, fashion-forward presence, and emotionally resonant pop sound. Her Manila stop signals the beginning of a broader regional rollout aimed at connecting with international audiences and building a global fanbase.

Her latest track, “but you,” represents a pivotal moment in her artistic journey. Performed entirely in English, the song blends R&B, pop, and lo-fi hip-hop influences into a smooth, atmospheric soundscape that captures longing, emotional distance, and the ache of enduring feelings often tied to an undefined relationship.

The single also marks ALLY’s first full collaboration with JHIN, the artist behind the viral hit “Blue Butterflies,” further amplifying its international appeal. To develop the track, ALLY flew to New York to work closely with JHIN in person, shaping the song’s sound and emotional direction together.

“‘but you’ is a very personal song for me,” ALLY shares. “It talks about that one person you can’t forget, even when the relationship is unclear or already over. Singing it in English allowed me to express those emotions in a way that people from different countries can understand. I’m so excited to share this song with Filipino listeners, because I’ve always heard how passionate and supportive they are.”

Originally trained in South Korea under the guidance of 411 Music, ALLY underwent nearly two years of intensive preparation in singing, dancing, and music production. This foundation helped shape her into a world-class performer with a disciplined work ethic and versatile artistry.

Beyond music, ALLY has steadily built a multi-faceted career across entertainment and fashion. She gained widespread recognition for her acting work in the Netflix series The Believers and has served as a brand ambassador for global luxury house CHANEL, positioning her as a modern Asian muse with growing international influence.

She is also set to appear in the upcoming global K-pop thriller film “Perfect Girl,” directed by Hong Won-ki (Goedam) and featuring an international cast spanning both K-pop and Hollywood. ALLY stands out as the only Thai artist selected for the project, further highlighting her rising global profile.

ALLY’s Manila visit will include media appearances, performances, and a fan meet with Filipino supporters who have helped amplify her music across Southeast Asia, a testament to the country’s vibrant music culture and passionate pop fandom.

“Visiting the Philippines feels very special to me,” she adds. “I want to connect with fans, perform live, and share my music face-to-face. This trip is the first step of my global journey, and I’m grateful to start it in a country with such an incredible love for music.”
