Bosch appoints Celeste Cervania as managing director of Bosch Philippines

Celeste Cervania

Manila, Philippines – Bosch has appointed Celeste Cervania as managing director of its Philippine operations, effective January 1, 2026.

The leadership transition comes at a milestone moment for Bosch locally, as the global technology and services company reflects on 100 years of partnership with the Philippines and prepares for its next phase of growth. The company is deepening its focus on technology, industrial capability, and long-term partnerships in a market undergoing rapid digital and operational change.

Cervania succeeds Paulo Duarte, who strengthened partnerships with government and industry stakeholders, including initiatives that support technical training and workforce development, during his tenure as managing director of Bosch Philippines. Under his leadership, the company also expanded its automotive service network, engaged with industry associations on advanced manufacturing initiatives, and maintained its corporate social responsibility programs in the country.

Cervania brings more than two decades of experience within the Bosch Group to the role, having held leadership positions across procurement, logistics, and regional operations in Asia Pacific. Before joining Bosch, she worked in procurement across several industries – including paper manufacturing, automotive, and industrial sectors.

Within Bosch, Cervania has held roles in the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia, spanning supplier development, contract management, and logistics purchasing, with regional management responsibilities across Southeast Asia, Oceania, China, Japan, and Korea. “Taking on the role of Managing Director of Bosch Philippines is both an honor and a responsibility to build on a century of partnership in the country. Leadership must be grounded in capability, integrity, and performance,” said Cervania. “We will continue to invest in our people and deliver solutions that support the Philippines’ growth.”

Bosch first sold its automotive products in the Philippines in 1926. Today, it has expanded its portfolio to include power tools, home appliances, life safety systems, advanced manufacturing technologies, and software-enabled services. “Bosch has built its reputation on consistent, reliable innovation,” said Cervania. “As technologies evolve, we see it as our role to equip technicians, partners, and industries with the skills needed to adapt. We will continue strengthening our partnerships with customers and stakeholders while expanding the reach of Bosch solutions across the sectors we serve.”
