Centennial Milestone Announcement

MANILA, Philippines — Bosch Philippines marks its 100th year in the country with the launch of “Hands That Build a Nation,” a centennial video tribute to the Filipino workers, builders, service professionals, homemakers, and communities whose efforts shape everyday life and keep the country moving.
Released as part of Bosch’s broader centennial campaign, the tribute reflects the company’s message of bayanihan – the shared understanding that progress is built collectively. The video turns the spotlight toward the people that Bosch supports through its technologies and solutions, whose skill, care, and quiet discipline keep homes running, businesses growing, industries operating, and daily life on track.
Bosch’s presence in the Philippines dates to 1926, when its first product was sold in Cebu. Over the decades, the company has expanded its automotive roots into a diversified portfolio spanning mobility, power tools, home appliances, building technologies, industrial systems, and software-enabled services.
Today, Bosch’s presence can be seen across key sectors of the Philippine economy. In mobility, the company supports automotive servicing as workshops adapt to changing vehicle technologies, including electric and hybrid systems. In construction, its power tools paired with on-site training help contractors and tradesmen work safely and efficiently. In service and digital operations, Bosch teams in the Philippines support global businesses as automation and new technologies continue to reshape how work is delivered.
“For 100 years, Bosch has supported the people and industries behind everyday progress in the Philippines,” said Celeste Cervania, Managing Director of Bosch Philippines. “As we mark this milestone, we want to recognize the Filipino hands that build, repair, protect, serve, and care every day, and reaffirm our commitment to continue working alongside the country through reliable technology, strong partnerships, and solutions that remain relevant to its evolving needs.”
At the heart of “Hands That Build a Nation” are the hands shaped by experience – the mechanic keeping journeys safe, the professionals and skilled labor creating homes and infrastructure, the service professional keeping systems running, and the homemaker creating spaces of comfort. The tribute marks Bosch’s centennial not only by looking back on a century of presence, but by honoring the people whose work gives progress its meaning.
As Bosch enters its next century in the Philippines, the campaign also points to the transfer of skills, knowledge, and opportunity across generations, and the continued role of technology in enabling better lives.
