How Converge is Empowering Students to “Achieve Their X” Through the Battlestation Raid Experience

Giving students the tools, technology, and support to turn their “X,” their passions and dreams into reality

Manila, Philippines: December 17, 2025: For many students, “X” represents that one defining dream, whether it’s breaking into esports, sharpening their creative craft, or pursuing a future in tech. Through Converge’s newest program, Super FiberX Battlestation Raid, they are committed to empowering students to bring that passion to life by transforming their everyday computer setups into powerful tools to achieve their goals.

Hosted by Manjean Faldas, Battlestation Raid surprises deserving students across the country with a complete battlestation transformation, powered in part by a high-speed 24-month Converge Super FiberX  Max connection. With three episodes already released and two more on the way, the series showcases how the right tools, the right support, and the right connection can turn potential into real progress.

Episode 1: A Student Leader Overcomes Heavy PC Demands to Chase His “X”

The series opens with the story of Justine Ryan Deciembre, a student leader from Technological University of the Philippines – Taguig taking up Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology, a course that requires a powerful and reliable computer setup.

Balancing demanding academic workloads with his passion for esports has always been a challenge for Justine. At one point, he even had to uninstall all his PC games to complete his thesis, an especially tough decision for someone who dreams of becoming an esports team manager.

His Battlestation Raid experience gave him the push he needed, equipped with the stable fiber connection needed to study, lead, and pursue esports without limits.

Faldas shared, “With the Converge SuperFiberX MAX, you can stream, you can study, you can create nang walang limitasyon. Basta’s malakas ang connection mo, ang pangarap mo ay posibleng matupad.”

Episode 2: Igniting the Spark of Creativity

Battlestation Raid Episode 2 features Clark Domingo, an AB Communications student from National University – Manila and a dedicated esports community leader. Clark aspires to be a videographer or a cinematographer, but his aging laptop often black-screens during extended editing sessions, a hindrance for both his academic output and his family’s small home printing business.

Battlestation Raid provided Clark with the opportunity to create without interruption, manage projects more efficiently, and nurture the spark that fuels his creativity.

Faldas reflected on the moment with a powerful message: “Lahat ng passion ay may pinagmulan, lahat ng pangarap ay nagsisimula sa isang spark. At sa kada estudyante, dito nagsisimula ang kanilang X.”

Episode 3: Student Gains Confidence to Build Her Future

The third episode told the story of Rochelle Joy Cuizon, a student leader from New Era University taking BSBA Financial Management. Between modeling, managing an esports team, and fulfilling school responsibilities, Rochelle relied on borrowing her mother’s laptop, often making it difficult to keep up. She dreams of running her own business one day, whether in farming, a coffee shop or even her own computer shop.

Battlestation Raid gave her the boost she needed to confidently pursue her ambitions and take on her academic and leadership roles with greater ease.

Content Creators, OhMyV33nus and Wise Gaming joined her episode, with Wise sharing a reminder: “Hangga’t may isang sumusuporta sayo, ituloy mo lang.”

From supporting academic excellence to enabling creative pursuits, esports leadership, and future-ready careers, Converge continues to stand by its commitment to help students Achieve Their X.

JP Aguilar, SVP and Consumer Business Group Head of Converge, emphasized that connectivity has become essential for students today. “With Battlestation Raid, we wanted to show in a very real way how fast, reliable fiber internet supports what students do every day—whether that’s studying, creating content, or building skills for the future.”

As part of Converge’s ongoing efforts to engage the youth segment, the series reflects the brand’s focus on relevance and real-world impact.

“This campaign was designed to meet students where they are,” said Orange Ramirez, VP and Brand & Marketing Head of Converge. “Battlestation Raid isn’t just about upgrading setups—it’s about telling stories that reflect how today’s students use technology to pursue their goals and express who they are.”

With two final episodes set to air, more students are about to experience meaningful upgrades that go beyond hardware.

“Each student featured in the show represents a much bigger community of young people who are striving to find their X. By providing access to reliable connectivity and the right digital tools, Converge aims to help remove barriers so students can focus on learning, creating, and achieving what matters to them,” said Sandra Tubale Dingal, Head of Consumer Segment Marketing of Converge.

Two more students are set to have their setups—and their futures—transformed. Catch the final episodes of Battlestation Raid on December 19 and December 26. Follow Converge FiberX on Facebook to stay updated and join the experience.
