First we would like to apologize that this blog post and the photos took forever to put up. There have been a lot going on and we’ve been really busy these past few weeks. Plus Paul has been distracted with Dexter- the series. But with some pushing the photos are finally here! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/i><\/span>

<\/i><\/span>Ever since being a part of Paramore Night III Paul and I have been thrown into a whirlwind of gigs, events and music celebrating not only our favorite foreign bands but discovering true OPM (Original Pinoy Music) talent as well. We’ve made friends and have become part of a big Paramore family.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>There was some time before Parmore Night VI happened, a couple of months or so and this just made every one really excited for the event. Every one was really looking forward to it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Honestly I was worried when days before the event front women for both Mad Hatter Day and Ferown had to cancel since they were sick, (a strange virus has been going around due to the crazy weather) I was worried that a lot of people would cancel their plans of going but boy was I in for a surprise because Freedom Bar was packed!\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>Now we have been to Freedom Bar a couple of times already but I have never seen it so full of people! Usually the seats would be occupied by bands who would be performing but not this time, this time it was full of friends who smiled and called you when you entered the bar. It was nice to know that not only did the people come to enjoy the bands but they also went to see and hang out with friends, it really was one big crazy, happy and fun Parafamily.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The event started late due to some difficulties regarding logistics but despite the long wait the people were already singing and dancing to Paramore songs being played in the bar.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>When the event did start the first band up was Sinaja who gave a beautiful rendition of “The Only Exception”<\/i> complete with a violin accompaniment it was a perfect rendition for a wedding! \ud83d\ude42 Aside from a violin Sinaja also brought diversity to their music by having a keytar!\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>It was an awesome set from collab band ‘The Morning Light’<\/i> made up of resident musicians of Paramore Night led by the man behind it all (and probably the person with the most Paramore shirts I know)<\/i> Kuya Monty of Mayonnaise, with Mich Dimen of Behind Those City Lights<\/i> on vocals, they had a new twist to their band by having Dj Jasper (in the house)<\/i> experimenting with electronica which was just apt for Paramore’s new album.<\/span>

Speaking of eletronica there seemed to be a trend in bands experimenting in eletronica and also bringing in keyboards to their usual retinue of instruments. Even veteran band Paraluman brought in their own keyboardist.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>Aside from a trend in electronica there was a couple of Collab band like\u00a0The Morning Light<\/i> and Chin-Chin and friends<\/i> which were basically friends and musicians who came together to share their love for Paramore and music.\u00a0<\/span>

New comer to the Paramore Night\u00a0scene\u00a0Dressed Up Days brought in their own distinct flavor of sugar coated and candy sprinkled songs with a fun neon twist to Paramore songs. \u00a0<\/span>

Just so you guys have an idea how crazy Paramore Night VI was check out this video<\/a><\/b><\/span> of Emergency from Behind Those City Lights – which I took by the way. I honestly had a fun time capturing all the crazy and let’s just say that you have to see it to believe it.The crowd was so wild – Paul told me ‘ingat ka’ (take care) before I went in the mosh pit. \ud83d\ude1b \u00a0<\/span>

Paramore Night VI finished really late – like 3AM late which was the latest so far of the gigs and events we’ve been too and what can I say – Ain’t it fun?<\/i> is really a rhetorical question when it comes to these guys.\u00a0<\/span>
