For someone who works in a Call Center, it’s always hard to find food in the early morning. There have been many times when office mates and I would spend so long debating where to have lunch (don’t freak out because our lunch is at 1AM). That is why I am always gleeful when there is a new food market open. There are a lot of times when we end up having to eat fast food and these are a lot of times <\/i>so a different and healthier alternative is always welcome!\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>What is a food market? Well can I just say that I just pity you if you have not been to a food market, you are really missing out on a lot<\/i>! Basically a food market is like a tyange where you have all sorts of different kind of food instead of shoes, clothes, bags, accessories, you have food! All sort of food from pasta, pizza, Japanese food, ihaw-ihaw, shawarma, cakes, pastries, if I type in every sort of food in a food market this blog post will never end.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>So we were invited to the grand launch of FLAVORS – the newest food market in the Metro (check out the blog post here<\/a>). While food has always been a welcome incentive to go anywhere, the grand launch of FLAVORS was made extra special because Urbandub will be performing! Wohoooo! Paul and I really love Urbandub, they are one of our favorite OPM acts so seeing them while stuffing ourselves with food was an easy equation to a happy tummy and eargasm.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>Unfortunately Paul had work until 9PM and the event would start at 6PM which meant I would have to go there alone, bring the camera (Paul calls it an armada, because it’s a lot and it’s heavy) and take photos. Even if Paul has been teaching me to take photos, I’m still apprehensive when I have to be the one behind the lens. Most of the photos here were taken by me. \ud83d\ude1b Paul was able to catch up, he made it during the last 2 songs of Urbandub’s set.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>The event was more than just a food trip and Urbandub since there were also performances from talented singers such as X Factor Philippines alumnus Mark Mabasa, Ruel Quizon, as well as the 2nd runner up to the 2012 World Karaoke Championship (which was held in Finland by the way) Lilibeth Garcia and finalist JV Decena. The event was hosted by Bb. Pilipinas International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago and Bb. Pilipinas 2013 1st runner up Pia Wurtzbach. Apparently there were changes to the line up, I had to do an erratum in the earlier post<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>Things were made a little more exciting with a little game where audience members were asked to render their best Karaoke song – (the prize was a Wow Karaoke) what can I say Pinoys are really talented when it comes to Karaoke :p\u00a0<\/span>

\u00a0When Urbandub took the stage, Gabby was just loving the scent of the food and who could blame him there is a wide range of food choices. Not only is the food delicious by the way but it is also very affordable, I’ve been to different food markets and definitely FLAVORS meets the quality your stomach is looking for at the price where you and your wallet would be very happy!\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>As expected Urbandub gave a great performance! I just love these guys! OPM is so not dead with them around \ud83d\ude09 I was able to have a photo with Lalay and John after their set, I wasn’t able to get a photo with Gab since body guards literally swooped down on him to carry him away. It was almost comedic how one of the guards literally hugged him, wrapping his arms around Gab’s neck :p\u00a0<\/span>
