\u201cMoxie\u201d a noun that means \u201cenergy\u201d it can also be used for \u201ccourage\u201d and \u201cdetermination\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the book by the same name by Jennifer Mathieu, the film tells the story of Vivian Carter (Hadley Robinson), a shy 16 year-old, who comes back to her High School after summer and realizes that she\u2019s fed up with the sexist and toxic status quo. And we\u2019re talking about things that are not okay<\/em><\/strong> but somehow becomes \u201caccepted\u201d and \u201cthe norm\u201d and honestly, it\u2019s disgusting how people get away with these things. Case in point, there is a list, or rather, a ranking of the girls in Vivian\u2019s school, with categories like \u2018Most Bang-able\u2019, \u2018Best Ass\u2019 \u2018Best Rack\u2019 <\/em>-you get the picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I mean, in what universe is it okay for a High School to have this kind of list right? It\u2019s just maddening that it\u2019s accepted and the school\u2019s principal just doesn\u2019t want to deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
