Kythe kids were partnered with TP volunteers and enjoyed a fun program which included animal yoga exercises and storytelling, a safari hunt, trivia games, and even a Talentadong Kythe Kids showcase and Costume Contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The activity was done through Citizen of the World, Teleperformance&#8217;s charitable initiative that helps the world&#8217;s most vulnerable infants and children meet their basic survival needs and, ultimately, reach their individual potential. Kythe Foundation has been a partner organization of Citizen of the World since 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt Teleperformance, we truly believe in the importance of giving back and in providing our employees with the avenues to make an impact in communities. As we celebrate our 25th year in the Philippines, we look forward to working with long-standing partners like Kythe Foundation to create more programs like this Virtual Day Camp that will help provide not only for the physical, but the psychological and social needs of children, who are among the most affected by the ongoing pandemic,\u201d said Jeffrey Johnson, Teleperformance Philippines Senior Vice President of Human Capital Resource Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Teleperformance Citizen of the World program has enabled Kythe to carry out the organization\u2019s mission of providing opportunities for children with cancer to learn, play and grow even while confined in the hospital. TP Citizen of the World is one of the few corporate foundations who understand the value of providing psychosocial support to pediatric cancer patients,\u201d shared Maria Fatima &#8220;Girlie\u201d Garcia-Lorenzo, Co-founder and Executive Director of Kythe Foundation, Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFurthermore, TP Citizen of the World provides our patients medical and financial support. This year, there were 18 pediatric cancer patients who were given certificates of completion for their chemotherapy sessions. If in five years, these patients will not experience any relapse, they will be considered cancer survivors. Helping to save young lives\u2026this is TP Citizen of the World\u2019s positive impact on Kythe,\u201d Director added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from organizing day camps and theme parties, Citizen of the World also provides monthly allowances for the Kythe Child Life Coordinators, who provide psychosocial support to children with cancer and other chronic illness and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TP\u2019s Citizen of the World has also provided medical assistance through the Kythe Adopt-a-Patient Program, which provides funds for necessary medical procedures, medicines, laboratory and other expenses with the hope of providing the child-patient a continuing healing process. In 2020, Citizen of the World has been able to help over 2,000 children, provided over 2,000 Child Life Services and activities over the past 13 years, and providing assistance amounting to almost PHP
