PHILIPPINES, APRIL 13, 2022 <\/strong>\u2013 The Emmy\u00ae winning dark comedy series Barry<\/em><\/strong>, starring Emmy\u00ae winner Bill Hader, returns for its eight-episode third season same time as the U.S. on Monday, April 25 at 10am on HBO and HBO GO<\/a>. A new episode will debut every following Monday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Season three finds Barry (Hader) and the other characters trying to make the right choice. <\/em><\/strong>Desperate to leave his violent past behind in favour of his newfound passion, Barry is attempting to untangle himself from the world of contract killing and fully immerse himself in acting. But getting out is messy. While Barry has eliminated many of the external factors that pushed him towards violence, he soon discovers they weren’t the only forces at play. What is it about his own psyche that led him to become a killer in the first place?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Emmy\u00ae nominated and winning cast regulars include Stephen Root (HBO\u2019s Perry Mason<\/em>) as Monroe Fuches, Barry\u2019s former handler currently in hiding; Sarah Goldberg (Hindsight<\/em>) as Sally, Barry\u2019s girlfriend in the midst of launching her first TV series; Anthony Carrigan (Gotham<\/em>) as Noho Hank, head of the Chechen mob in LA; and Emmy\u00ae winner Henry Winkler (Arrested Development<\/em>) as Gene Cousineau, Barry\u2019s former acting teacher who is in mourning over the loss of his girlfriend Detective Janice Moss. Returning for season three as a cast regular is Sarah Burns (HBO\u2019s Enlightened<\/em>) as Detective Mae Dunn. Returning recurring cast includes D\u2019Arcy Carden (The Good Place<\/em>) as Natalie Greer and Michael Irby (HBO\u2019s True Detective<\/em>; Mayans M.C.<\/em>) as Cristobal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first two seasons of Barry<\/em><\/strong> received a total of thirty Emmy\u00ae nominations and six Emmys\u00ae including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Bill Hader); Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Henry Winkler); Outstanding Sound Editing For a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation; and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Season three of Barry<\/em><\/strong> was created, written and directed by Alec Berg (HBO\u2019s Silicon Valley<\/em>) and Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live<\/em>); executive produced by Bill Hader, Alec Berg, Aida Rodgers and Liz Sarnoff; and produced by Julie Camino. Additional season three writers include Emma Barrie, Jason Kim, Emily Heller, Duffy Boudreau, and Liz Sarnoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
