The initiative\u2019s main goal is for individuals and local organizations to submit plans that foster positive change for the local community. The best proposals are awarded grants to help fulfill their initiatives. For the Philippines\u2019 first LG Ambassador Challenge, \u2018Ride for Hope\u2019 by Bahay Aruga and \u2018Roof for Siargao\u2019 by Red Charity Gala were selected as the two winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LG PH Managing Director Sungjae Kim looks forward to see new proposals for the second run of the program. \u201cThe LG Ambassador Program for the Philippines is a categorical success. Ever since, we\u2019ve always wanted to play an active role in lending a helping hand to the community. But the beauty of the Ambassador Program is that it gives us a more focused, targeted, and grassroots approach to community building and betterment. It gives us fresh perspectives and new ways to help.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under an overarching vision that sees various aspects of society working together to achieve a better life for all, the program is open to all groups that strive to bring about positive change for their community, solve social problems and alleviate poverty through LG products and technologies.
