ONE PIECE<\/em> is the best-selling manga series of all time, and the Netflix series will be the franchise\u2019s first live-action adaptation. An epic saga of adventure on the high seas, the original manga follows the adventures of Luffy, an enthusiastic young man with the singular aspiration of becoming \u201cKing of the Pirates.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cultural phenomenon with millions of passionate fans around the globe, ONE PIECE<\/em> is an expansive, ongoing story about a group of misfits with a dream of joining together to become Luffy\u2019s loyal crew, The Straw Hats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on Japan\u2019s highest-selling manga series in history by Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE<\/em> is a legendary high-seas adventure unlike any other. Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who has longed for a life of freedom since he can remember. Luffy sets off from his small village on a perilous journey to find the legendary fabled treasure, ONE PIECE, to become King of the Pirates!
