Global Communications Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her presentation, Dr. Wakita shared about the need to reduce sodium consumption to prevent certain medical conditions such as hypertension which is one of the leading causes of death among Filipinos. She then shared salt alternatives such as Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) which helps reduce the sodium content of food without compromising its delicious taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>APC launched the BawAsin\u00ae campaign to encourage Filipinos to reduce their salt intake without sacrificing deliciousness.
