With a 97% certified fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the critics\u2019 consensus is that <em>Dune: Part Two <\/em>is visually thrilling and narratively epic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing the streak from its predecessor, <em>Dune: Part Two<\/em> lands with a success for reviewers. <em>The Independent<\/em> writes, \u201c<em>Dune: Part Two<\/em>, like its predecessor, is a work of total sensory and imaginative immersion.\u201d <em>Total Film <\/em>adds the movie to the hall of beloved sequels, saying, \u201cHowever you cut it, Villeneuve wrangles coherence from Herbert\u2019s unruly elements to deliver a sequel that ranks alongside <em>The Dark Knight, The Empire Strikes Back \u2013 and Blade Runner 2049.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Guardian<\/em> praises director Denis Villeneuve\u2019s vision for the film, \u201cThe second part of Denis Villeneuve\u2019s monumental Dune adaptation lands with a sternum-juddering crash; it\u2019s another shroom of a film, an epic sci-fi hallucination whose images speak of fascism and imperialism, of guerrilla resistance and romance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kudos also abound for the cast performance, with The <em>New York Post<\/em> lending focus to Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet\u2019s performance as Paul Atreides. \u201cBut the series\u2019 grounding force continues to be Chalamet. After singing and wisecracking as Willy Wonka, he\u2019s back to his bread and butter: brooding and stoic contemplation. It\u2019s in this second chapter, however, that we realize how perfect the actor is for Paul,\u201d they write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Rolling Stone<\/em> also takes note of Chalamet\u2019s take on the protagonist, saying, \u201cBut this act is also where you see Paul Atreides come into his own, and by extension, the actor who plays him. <em>Part Two <\/em>is where you see a boy having grown into a man, who then evolves into a reluctant \u2014 and eventually not-so-reluctant \u2014 savior.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not to be outdone, Zendaya\u2019s performance as the warrior Chani was also a highlight of the film, with <em>IGN <\/em>writing, \u201cThe Fremen will need to be united to stand against the forces of the Imperium, and the sacrifices and compromises that Chani make constantly ground the story with help from Zendaya\u2019s direct, steely performance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Watch the interstellar action rise to greater heights as <em>Dune: Part Two<\/em> arrives in Philippine
