The Company takes its environmental stewardship to the next level with its Ambition 2030 declaration which presents its commitment to Climate, Waste, Water, and Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among its Ambition 2030 goals, P&G is committed to progress towards 100% of its consumer packaging being recyclable or reusable by 2030, aiming to minimize waste generated throughout the manufacturing and end-user lifecycle. In the Philippines, the P&G Cabuyao Manufacturing Plant is a certified Zero Manufacturing Waste to Landfill facility. The P&G Cabuyao plant demonstrates its commitment to sustainability by recycling a substantial amount of plastic waste annually. Additionally, it has taken proactive steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80% through purchasing 100% renewable electricity. P&G has also implemented measures to optimize power consumption at the plant, resulting in substantial carbon avoidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P&G brands have implemented various sustainable initiatives to promote responsible consumption. Herbal Essences uses 25% post-consumer resin (recycled plastic) in its bio:renew shampoo bottles. Safeguard replaced the plastic overwrap on its soap multipacks with recycled paper cartons which avoided potential plastic waste equivalent to 1,000 times the length of Boracay\u2019s shoreline. Olay\u2019s \u201cShip-In-Own-Container\u201d introduced molded packaging for online purchases which eliminated the need for additional packaging materials such as bubble wrap and fillers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
