The soulful pop EP takes listeners to her colorful world, exploring cities, embracing cultures, and forming relationships. But at the helm of this beautifully complex project are songs written specifically to channel her feelings of finding home in strange places and accepting things that aren\u2019t meant to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to just share a little bit of my world with everyone,\u201d the Paris-based artist admits. \u201cIt&#8217;s a concoction of stories, feelings, and languages. I want the music to simply be an exchange, a conversation. One of giving\u2014 letting people hear what the world has shown me; and receiving\u2014connecting to people as they experience the music.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sonically speaking, Muri\u2019s first EP brims with balmy and soulful tunes that are delivered with newfound ease and confidence. Here, both the storytelling and the musical backdrop take the center stage, allowing Muri to deliver prophetic notes that are subtle and tender, yet never calculated in its pursuit for attention or conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muri explains, \u201cWith my EP, I felt I really went off-track with what I thought I knew as my music style. I feel like this stage of mixed identity, living in multiple countries, gave me this gray area to try new things, challenge my assumptions about songwriting, and inject elements of my multiple worlds. Her band The Ransom Collective will also reunite for a special set, along with performances by some of her music peers, including Leanne &amp; Naara, Kai del Rio, Jerms, and Billz. Muri, on the other hand, will debut the songs from the EP live with her backing band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muri will also take the center stage at the AXEAN Festival 2024 in Bali, Indonesia, on September 28-29, 2024. The globally renowned showcase festival has grown to become an internationally recognized platform that features musical talents from Southeast Asia and beyond, while also providing a place for artists and music industry professionals from around the world to connect through genuine face-to-face networking opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>Follow
