Ride-or-die friendships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Russco<\/a>, real love<\/em> in friendships stands the test of time. \u201cReal love is being there for a friend, whether it be a win or a loss,\u201d he shares. \u201cIt\u2019s the capability of one to be a low-maintenance friend, but when you see each other again, it would feel like nothing has changed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russco said his friendships are worry-proof<\/em> because they\u2019ve been solid since high school. He adds that honesty and trust make their friendships grow even stronger. \u201cShowing real love<\/em> when it comes to friends is being able to be straightforward and not put any filter when it comes to either communicating or just being yourself,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being kind to yourself<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Self-love is an act of acceptance and kindness, according to Angelique<\/a>. \u201cReal love<\/em> means allowing yourself to have that room to grow,\u201d she says. \u201cIt\u2019s being kind to yourself on the days you fail and giving yourself some flowers on your wins.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Angelique shares that she takes the time to understand herself, her needs, weaknesses, and strengths. \u201cAnd when I do, my relationship with myself becomes worry-proof<\/em> because I get to show up with full confidence and trust in the person I am,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To show herself real love, Angelique embraces vulnerability and growth. \u201cI think it really starts with putting down all my walls, trying to stay attuned with my core. I think that\u2019s the greatest gift I could give myself \u2014 being kinder transforms into real love<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loving bond with family<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Roce<\/a>, family is where love feels like home, even when they\u2019re apart. No matter how hectic life gets, staying connected keeps their bond worry-proof. \u201cCommunication makes my family worry-proof<\/em>,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She adds that love exists in the little things, like helping her family with chores, treating them to something special, or ensuring they feel appreciated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“They support [me] through the ups and downs, acknowledge [my] efforts, and never make [me] feel invalidated,\u201d Roce said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
