Rising Hip-Hop\/R&B girl group\u00a0XG<\/strong>\u00a0has announced the release of their re-cut single \u201cIN THE RAIN<\/strong>\u201d from their second mini album\u00a0AWE<\/em><\/strong>. The track will be available on all major streaming platforms worldwide\u00a0at 12:00AM on April 11th<\/strong>. The group will also be unveiling a powerful new visual featuring the members dressed in sleek suits, adding a striking visual layer to the upcoming release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally featured on AWE<\/em>, which marked XG\u2019s debut on the Billboard 200 album chart<\/strong>, \u201cIN THE RAIN\u201d is an R&B-inspired track that fuses the delicate sound of falling rain with gentle guitar melodies. The song captures the emotional aftermath of a breakup, evoking a sense of quiet melancholy that resonates deeply with listeners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

XG has been performing the track during their ongoing world tour, \u201c<\/em>XG 1st WORLD TOUR \u2018The first HOWL\u2019<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, where it has received praise for its captivating stage choreography – featuring umbrellas as a symbolic and aesthetic element.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the original version, the single includes \u201cIN THE RAIN x XDM<\/strong>\u201d, an alternate take that injects the emotional depth of the original with high-energy EDM elements. The remix continues to expand the group\u2019s evolving sound and marks another entry in their XDM Series<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This release follows the group\u2019s recent success with \u201cIS THIS LOVE<\/strong><\/a>\u201d, the global campaign song for Shiseido\u2019s ANESSA brand, currently airing in TV commercials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

XG is on tour across Latin America with stops in S\u00e3o Paulo and Mexico City in April, and Seattle shortly after. The group will conclude their tour with a highly anticipated final concert at Tokyo Dome on May 14th<\/strong>. On the same day, they are set to release their 6th single, <\/strong>\u201cMILLION PLACES<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
