Your emergency fund is your financial life jacket.<br><br>\u201cFinancial preparedness can help reduce anxiety during difficult times. Therefore, saving for an emergency fund should be a priority,\u201d said Jim Ian Bautista, senior research specialist at the BSP North Luzon Regional Office, in an <a href=\"https:\/\/pia.gov.ph\/saving-for-emergency-fund-key-to-financial-stability-bsp-says\/\">article<\/a> by the Philippine Information Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to finance website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/e\/emergency_fund.asp\">Investopedia<\/a>, an emergency fund refers to money stashed away that can be used in times of financial distress.
