GIV\u0112ON<\/strong>\u2019s award-winning and globally regarded R&B prowess has made its grand and official return today with the release of the singer\u2019s sophomore album, BELOVED<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, available now via Epic Records. Spread out over the course of 14 songs, GIV\u0112ON addresses themes of regret and longing, love lost and found, and self-exploration on BELOVED<\/em>, with his mellifluous vocals leading the way. Eloquent string sections and enticing drum patterns adorn the album\u2019s razor-sharp production, led by Thomas, Sweet and Maneesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTwenties,\u201d the album\u2019s lead single, earned its reputation as flagbearer, netting GIV\u0112ON his fourth chart hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The song earned high praise from The New York Times<\/em> and Uproxx<\/em>, and GIV\u0112ON delivered a buzzed-about performance of the record at Prada\u2019s official pre-Met Gala festivities earlier this year. The song\u2019s viscous subject matter hasn\u2019t deterred its popularity – a hallmark of GIV\u0112ON music. \u201cThis story perfectly encapsulates the experience of investing your most precious years into love,\u201d the singer surmises of his latest hit. \u201cBut unfortunately a love that expires.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
