This kind of broad, absurdist comedy would transcend all age groups.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<em>The Naked Gun<\/em>, Liam Neeson plays Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., son of Lt. Frank Drebin (famously played by Leslie Nielsen) and the only man who has the particular set of skills to lead Police Squad and save the world! Directed by Akiva Schaffer (<em>Saturday Night Live<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping<\/em>) and produced by MacFarlane,&nbsp;<em>The Naked Gun<\/em>&nbsp;stars Neeson, Pamela
