Quezon City <\/strong>\u2014 Roderick Paulate came strong with the reintroduction of his classic \u2018patawa\u2019<\/em> to the Mudrasta<\/em> trailer launch at the MediaCon and was warmly embraced by the guests who graced the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mudrasta<\/em>, the upcoming CreaZion Studio Release family-comedy film, brought together members of the press ahead of its nationwide release. The event was attended by the cast, led by Roderick Paulate, along with Tonton Gutierrez, Carmi Martin, Sunshine Teodoro, and Debbie Garcia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the MediaCon, the cast\u2019s chemistry was undeniable\u2014especially between Roderick Paulate and Tonton Gutierrez, who had everyone laughing with their effortless back-and-forth. When asked how they approached building that dynamic for the film, both shared that it didn\u2019t take much work at all. \u201cIt just felt natural,\u201d they said, crediting the script and their shared experience in comedy for making the rhythm between their characters easy to find. The rest of the cast echoed the same sentiment, making it clear that Mudrasta<\/em> is as fun behind the scenes as it is on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The press event also offered new insight into what might be Roderick Paulate\u2019s most entertaining role yet. \u201cI’m very particular with the story at kung paano gagawin<\/strong>,\u201d said Paulate when asked why he chose Mudrasta<\/em> as his big-screen comeback. \u201cMaganda ang <\/strong>Mudrasta<\/em><\/strong>. I’ve never been a \u2018Mudrasta,\u2019 first \u2018Mudrasta\u2019 role ko ito at challenging na agad. I asked myself, \u2018Paano ako magiging \u2018Mudrasta?\u2019\u201d Tapos sabi ko pagkatapos n\u2019on, kaya kong gawin, kaya gusto ko makita \u2018yong script.<\/strong> Do’n na kami nagsimula ng proseso. Mudrasta<\/em> follows the story of Victor \u201cBeki\u201d Labrador (Paulate), a flamboyant ex-lover who finds himself back in his former flame\u2019s life after inheriting half of his estate and being forced to live with the family he left behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
