August 18, 2025<\/strong> \u2014 5X Platinum-certified alternative rock mainstays THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS<\/strong><\/a> (@redjumpsuitapparatus<\/a>) today (August 8<\/strong>) have released \u201cX\u2019s For Eyes,\u201d<\/strong> the second single from their forthcoming album X’s For Eyes<\/strong> out October 3<\/strong> via Better Noise Music<\/strong>. The guitars hit hard, the melody soars, and the rhythm jumps fast in this riveting song that extends a helping hand to someone who\u2019s living close to the edge. X’s For Eyes<\/strong> is the first full-length album from THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS<\/strong>\u2014vocalist Ronnie Winter<\/strong>, his multi-instrumentalist brother Randy Winter<\/strong>, guitarist Josh Burke<\/strong>, bassist Joey Westwood<\/strong>, drummer John Espy<\/strong>, keyboardist Nadeem Salam<\/strong>, and newest member K Enagonio <\/strong>on vocals\u2014as part of a new partnership with Better Noise Music<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To write the title track, Winter<\/strong> reteamed with producer and songwriter Matt Squire<\/strong> (Panic! at the Disco, Metallica<\/strong>, Good Charlotte<\/strong>), who first worked with the band on \u201cSlipping Through (No Kings)<\/strong>\u201d that came out June 27.<\/strong> The urgent and impassioned rallying cry\u2014written by Winter <\/strong>and Squire<\/strong>\u2014compellingly looks at the societal chaos gripping America right now. “What\u2019s really exciting is that we basically rebuilt the same team for X’s for Eyes<\/strong> that we had when we made DON’T YOU FAKE IT<\/strong>,\u201d says Winter<\/strong>. \u201cA lot of the people who were behind the scenes back then–working on things like mixing, track sequencing, and artwork–have come back together, nearly 20 years later, to be part of this new album. “<\/em> X’s for Eyes<\/strong> truly has something for everyone,\u201d he adds, \u201cincluding what came to be known as \u2018The Lost Songs,\u2019 songs from our original 2004 pre-signing demo that didn’t make it onto DON’T YOU FAKE IT. Fans have been asking for these for over 20 years and with the new album, they\u2019re being commercially released for the first time ever. It felt like we were digging up something long buried, like raising a zombie from the dead.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video for \u201cSlipping Through (No Kings)<\/strong>,\u201d directed by Steve Tramposch<\/strong> and Jamie Lewis<\/strong>, first introduced the concept of \u201cX\u2019s For Eyes.<\/strong>\u201d In the clip, there is destruction everywhere in a world devoid of color. The main characters\u2014\u201cX boy\u201d and \u201cX girl\u201d\u2014watch as their friends and loved ones are snatched off the streets by masked men in menacing dark cars. The characters have X\u2019s for eyes symbolizing their disillusionment, while others also have X\u2019s for mouths, symbolizing that they\u2019ve been quieted and have lost their voice. \u201cX boy\u201d and \u201cX girl\u201d are left to navigate the rubble and fend for themselves. An Alliance flag, the symbol of their rebellion (and the band\u2019s fan community) is planted in the rubble at the end and the video turns from black and white to full color. The eyes of \u201cX boy\u201d and \u201cX girl\u201d return to full circles to emphasize their awakening and solidarity. These are the youth of the world planting their flag with open eyes after there\u2019s nothing left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSlipping Through (No Kings)\u201d <\/strong>marked the third new music offering from THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS<\/strong> since their EMERGENCY<\/strong> EP in 2020. They previously released \u201cHome Improvement<\/strong><\/a>\u201d (which has logged over 363k YouTube views) at the time of last October\u2019s announcement of their signing to premiere independent music label Better Noise Music<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formed in 2004 in Jacksonville, FL, the band has accrued Gold and multi-Platinum singles\u2014including their massive 5x Platinum<\/strong> hit single \u201cFace Down<\/strong><\/a>,\u201d 2x Platinum<\/strong> \u201cYour Guardian Angel<\/strong><\/a>\u201d\u2014and 2x Platinum<\/strong>-certified debut album, DON\u2019T YOU FAKE IT<\/strong>, alongside numerous high-ranking radio chart positions and a robust digital history of over 1.5 billion<\/strong> career streams.
