The Boomerang Awards 2025 once again proved to be a testament to digital creativity and innovation. Held in October 2025 at the Sheraton Manila Hotel in Pasay City, the event gathered the best and brightest minds in advertising and marketing to recognize outstanding creators and digital storytellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organized by the Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP), the Boomerang Awards featured SARI-SARI DYC 2025, the ultimate celebration of young digital talents, bringing together a dynamic mix of creative professionals and emerging innovators who embody the spirit of diversity in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening the night was DMAP President Miko David, who welcomed all participants and acknowledged the dedication and creativity of all those who joined DYC DMAP 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is a great combination of hard work, collaboration, and passion,\u201d said David. \u201cI\u2019m so happy with the results and with this event that continues to celebrate the creativity, resilience, and innovation of Filipino digital professionals who push boundaries every year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening also celebrated the winners of the two competitions, who will represent Filipino digital excellence on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Young Lotus category,<\/strong> Arvin Chingcuanco and Sofia Jayme of Propel Manila emerged as the winners who will represent the Philippines at ADFEST 2026 in Pattaya, Thailand<\/strong>, happening from March 19\u201321, 2026<\/strong>. Also recognized for their creativity and strong presentations were Marco Robillos and Michaela Macalinao of Propel Manila, Jeremiah Capacillo and Kezia Brana of NuWorks, and Christian Malli and Mico Benitez of NuWorks, who all showcased exceptional storytelling and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Young Innova category, Franc Mangahas and Eri Carunungan of Lennon Group took home the Gold and will represent the Philippines at SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas, happening from March 12\u201318, 2026.<\/strong> Joining them on the winners\u2019 roster were Vinnie Pacleb and James Mendoza of TBWA\\SMP, and Trixie Bo\u00f1ales and Jox Gonzales of Dentsu Creative Philippines, who were also recognized for their outstanding ideas and strategic creativity that reflect the evolving landscape of digital marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe brief was tough but exciting; it made us think beyond the usual,\u201d said Mangahas. \u201cWinning Gold and representing the Philippines at SXSW 2026 feels surreal. We\u2019re thrilled to learn, connect, and bring that global perspective back home.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an incredible honor,\u201d added Carunungan. \u201cCompeting again after years in the industry reminded me how fun and rewarding this work can be. I\u2019m proud to represent our team and the local creative community on the SXSW stage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding a creative twist to this year\u2019s celebration, the Boomerang Awards 2025 trophies were designed by MOLD \u2014 a striking jar filled with miniature trophies from renowned global awards, symbolizing the winners\u2019 \u201csari-saring awards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese trophies perfectly capture what the Boomerang Awards stand for,\u201d said DMAP President Miko David. \u201cThey remind us that creativity comes in many forms, and tonight, we\u2019re honoring the sari-saring ideas that continue to elevate the Philippine digital industry. The work we celebrate tonight reflects our collective drive to tell meaningful stories, powered by collaboration and innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Boomerang Awards 2025 reaffirmed its role as the country\u2019s benchmark for digital excellence, spotlighting the next wave of Filipino talent ready to take on the world stage in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DMAP Sari-Sari DYC 2025 is co-presented by Ayala Foundation, Meta, and Maya. This event is also in partnership with Investing in Women, Ad Standards Council, AdFest, and The One Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
