Dubbed <em>From Puhunan To Profit<\/em>, the session was co-facilitated by Empower and Transform, an organization dedicated to providing financial education to Filipinos from all walks of life. Salve Iba\u00f1ez, a veteran finance journalist and registered financial planner (RFP), led the interactive forum and shared practical insights on managing cash flow, building financial discipline, and making informed financial decisions. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MSMEs such as <em>sari-sari<\/em> store owners, small eatery operators, and online sellers are one of the most underserved sectors in the Philippines, even as they account for the majority of businesses in the country. The activity supported 50 senior citizens and micro business owners under the care of the non-profit organization, combining material assistance with meaningful social engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The community received in-kind donations to help address their immediate needs, alongside a cash donation of PHP 100,000 to support GK Taguig\u2019s programs and initiatives for the elderly and the
