‘Music Is Universal’ returns to Music Matters Live on Sunday, 4 October, taking over CQ @
Clarke Quay with a powerhouse showcase of Universal Music’s Southeast Asian roster.
Bringing together some of the region’s most exciting pop idols from Indonesia, Thailand, the
Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia on one stage, the night spotlights a new generation of talent
through performances from DOLLA (MY), LYHAN (VN), MARBLES (ID), VVV (TH), and
XONARA (PH).
‘MadeIN’ – Music Matters Signature Country Showcases
Music Matters is excited to present its signature ‘MadeIN’ country showcases, shining a
spotlight on exceptional talent from across the globe.
This October marks a season of firsts with the launch of ‘Made IN Philippines Spotlight
Weekend’ presented by NCCA in partnership with BSE and Music Matters. Celebrating music
as a bridge for cultural exchange, ‘MadeIN Philippines’ brings Filipino and regional artists and
industry communities together at Music Matters with special performances by P-Pop
sensations KAIA (PH), PIX!E (PH), and the most nominated artist at this year’s AWIT Awards,
Lola Amour (PH) with 15 nominations!
The weekend will also feature two talented next-generation acts from Japan’s EXILE TRIBE
family this year – get ready for high-energy performances from LIL LEAGUE and KID
PHENOMENON, with more activities to be announced.
Music Matters is also thrilled to launch its inaugural MadeIN Nagaland showcase, presented
by TaFMa. Building on the success of 2025’s standout performance from Trance Effect, we’re
excited to bring more emerging talent from this vibrant Indian province to our stage.
‘Sounds Australia’ @ Music Matters Live
Sounds Australia presents not one, but two showcases this year with Sounds Australia @
Swee Lee and Sounds Australia at CQ @ Clarke Quay – Singapore is in for a treat with
first-time performances from Alice George, FVNERAL, Flynn Gurry, Holly Hebe, Lucy
Sugerman, Mariae Cassandra, Peach Fuzz, Pierce Brothers, Reuben Del Melo, SAHXL, Squid
The Kid and TOWNS.
‘Girls’ Night Out’ – presented by It’s A Girl Thing, Branded
The All That Matters conference and Music Matters Live will close on a high note with ‘Girls’
Night Out’, a vibrant closing party celebrating some of the most exciting female artists from
across Asia Pacific and around the world, produced by Branded’s very own It’s A Girl Thing.
Fans can look forward to a night of live performances spanning genres and borders, featuring
the exceptionally talented Bratty (MX), our first-ever artist to join us from Mexico, Maisha Kanna
(ID), Lucy Sugerman (AU), SARINA (JP) and Singapore’s own Haneri on the decks and many
more. ‘Girls’ Night Out’ will be an unforgettable finale to Music Matters Live 2026!
Music Matters Live is proud to share that this year’s line-up is organically ~50% female-led,
spotlighting an exceptional breadth of female talent shaping the music landscape.
A Milestone in Asia’s Music Calendar
Taking place alongside All That Matters 21st Edition (5 – 7 Oct), Asia’s leading entertainment
industry conference, Music Matters Live is a flagship event of the Singapore Grand Prix
Season (GPSS). As Jasper Donat, CEO of Branded, puts it: “Music Matters Live has always
been a platform for talent from all over the world to come to Singapore to discover and get
discovered in Asia and beyond. This year, our 21st edition, is a celebration of amazing music,
culture and innovation live at CQ @ Clarke Quay, right here in the heart of Singapore.”
