CreaZion Studios Announces Julia Barretto, Charo Santos-Concio, Tony Labrusca and Christopher de Leon to Star in “Knock Three Times,” New Horror Feature from Jerrold Tarog

QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES — CreaZion Studios has officially announced the lead cast of “Knock Three Times,” the upcoming horror feature from acclaimed filmmaker Jerrold Tarog, starring Julia Barretto, Charo Santos-Concio, Christopher de Leon, and Tony Labrusca. The cast made a surprise appearance at the Cine Expo in Gateway Cinema on May 12th afternoon.

The project, first unveiled last year at the Asian TV Forum in Singapore, quickly gained attention for its strong creative team and ambitious vision for Filipino horror storytelling. “Knock Three Times” marks one of the most anticipated genre productions currently in development from the Philippines, bringing together celebrated artists from across generations of Philippine cinema.

Barretto, who previously headlined the hit zombie thriller Block Z, continues to establish herself as one of the country’s strongest contemporary genre leads. Santos-Concio, one of the most respected figures in Philippine cinema, is known for her acclaimed performances in classics such as Kisapmata and the psychological horror film Eerie.

Joining them is Christopher de Leon, regarded as one of the pillars of Philippine cinema, whose body of work spans decades of collaborations with some of the country’s most revered filmmakers. His credits include Kakabakaba Ka Ba?, Three Godless Years, and Ganito Kami Noon… Paano Kayo Ngayon? — films widely recognized for their lasting impact on Filipino cinema.

Also joining the cast is Tony Labrusca, known for his performances in Glorious and Dreamboy, adding a younger contemporary edge to the ensemble.

The film was created by Real Florido and was previously selected as a finalist at the EST N8 Horror Pitch during the Asia TV Forum & Market in Singapore, signaling early industry interest in the project.

“This casting marks an exciting step forward for Knock Three Times as we bring together an exceptional team of artists,” said Anter “RJ” Agustin, CEO and President of CreaZion Studios. “At CreaZion, we are committed to championing bold, filmmaker-driven works that elevate Southeast Asian storytelling — stories that are deeply rooted in our culture yet resonate with audiences everywhere.”

With a growing slate of internationally positioned titles, CreaZion Studios continues to strengthen its reputation for developing distinctive projects that balance artistic ambition with broad audience appeal.

Further details, including additional casting announcements and production timelines, will be revealed soon.
