Received a transmission from a galaxy far, far away to put our knowledge of Star Wars to the test. Much like the Boonta Eve Classic, will a favorite like Sebula win? Or will a dark horse like Anakin Skywalker become the victor?
The moment you enter BAD Late Night Breakfast Bar, you know that the game is definitely on! There were posters of the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker all over the walls.
We were each handed robes with our team names on them. Team names were from different sides and groups of the 42 year old saga. Such as the Jedi, Sith, the Empire, the Resistance and the First Order, and we were Team Bounty Hunters.
The questions did not only cover questions and trivia from the movies but from the games and series as well. Talk about an Expanded Universe!
Mad props to hosts Bea and Yosu who managed to maneuver into that tricky asteroid field of intense Star Wars fans, Yosu even brought out questions straight out of his head and without the aid of a script or guide. The force probably had something to do with it.
After one winning team emerged, who then had to face each other in a sudden death round for the ultimate Fan Force Quiz Night Winner of a trip for (two) to Jordan!
It was a great way to kick off the “Rise of Skywalker” weekend (regardless of what the critics thought of the film) thank you Globe for an awesome night! It was great to spend time with Star Wars fans and just sharing with the love and excitement for the franchise (none of that toxicity in here please).
Looking forward to more fan events in 2020!
