“A true selfless act always sparks another.” – Klaus

Christmas brings out the selflessness of Filipinos, and people love to give gifts and do something special for others.

To celebrate the spirit of giving this holiday season, Netflix collaborated with Filipino kids: Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin (Team Kramer); Philip Peralejo-Bonifacio; and Celestine Lu (Little Big Toys) to write #LettersToKlaus and wish for something special for someone close to their hearts.

Team Kramer

Kendra (10), Scarlett (7), and Gavin (6) all love their Yaya Joy so much, that they wished for her house in the province to be fixed.

“It’s nice that we get to share our blessings to other people,” says Kendra. “I think it’s better to give than to receive because it makes other people happy, and at the same time, it makes us happy.”

Philip Bonifacio

Philip (5) loves making new friends and with the help of Klaus, he wished for a magical playdate with the kids at the Children’s Home Foundation. They were treated to a winter wonderland, complete with snow, ice skating, Christmas-themed treats, and presents.

Little Big Toys

Celestine loves toys, and she wished for shelter dogs to have their own. She went to Hound Haven Philippines, where she gifted retired working dogs with food and a new obstacle course.

“Every Christmas, I get lots of toys. This time, I want to share all my happiness with the dogs,” she says.

Klaus is now streaming, only on Netflix.
