The holiday season has officially arrived, and it brought a wave of pure enchantment right along with it! Back on October 20, the 3rd floor of SM City Marikina transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland during a spectacular late afternoon launch. If you were looking for a sign to start your holiday countdown, this was it.
As the sun began to set, families, creators, and shoppers gathered to witness the unveiling of the Holiday Twinklewoods—a dazzling, illuminated forest installation that instantly turned the mall into the ultimate seasonal destination. It was an absolute Gala To The Max, filled with music, laughter, and that unmistakable, warm holiday spirit that solidifies its reputation as the community’s most loved mall.
Step Into a Forest of Light
Walking onto the 3rd floor felt like stepping straight into a classic storybook. The Holiday Twinklewoods installation features towering, beautifully lit trees adorned with thousands of cascading fairy lights, gleaming ornaments, and whimsical details that captivated kids and kids-at-heart alike. It is a stunning visual masterpiece designed to bring the absolute finest elements of a Super Magical Christmas At SM directly to the Marikina community.
Maxed Out Experiences for Everyone
This year, the launch wasn’t just something to look at—it was a fully interactive celebration designed for maxed out experiences. Visitors were treated to a sensory wonderland, from festive musical performances that echoed through the lower floors to delightful holiday treats. Every corner of the installation was engineered to be the perfect backdrop for your holiday photos, making sure that your digital feeds are just as bright as the physical display itself.
Spreading Cheer with the Besties of Joy
At the heart of the afternoon’s festivities were the Besties of Joy—cheerful holiday characters and brand ambassadors who interacted with the crowd, handed out sweet surprises, and danced along with the children. Their infectious energy brought smiles to everyone in attendance, reminding us all that the true essence of the holidays lies in sharing moments of pure happiness with the people we love.
