These innovations reflect where home security is going, and how we continue to grow with the needs of Filipino families,” she said, adding that Yale products are now available across True Value stores nationwide.

The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Smart Yale Home Pop-Up Booth led by Mr. Jonathan Kwong, Ms. Aya Castillo, Product Marketing Manager of ASSA ABLOY Philippines, Ms. Cynthia Chavez, and Herco Trading Inc. President and CEO, Mr. Willy Co. More than a traditional product reveal, the installation offered a distinctly immersive and unconventional launch experience—transforming retail space into a fully realized smart home environment. Designed in the shape of a “Y,” the booth featured actual working doors and three home simulation rooms, each showcasing Yale’s latest innovations: the Yale Luna Elite+, Yale Uno, Yale YDL325 Series, and Yale Solis Safes.

The Smart Yale Home brought each product to life through real-world scenarios. Aya led a walkthrough of the booth, joined by actress, mom, lifestyle personality, and #MySmartYaleHome ambassador Ms. Isabel Oli-Prats, who experienced the space firsthand alongside #ThePratties family as they put the finishing touches on their new home. The walkthrough offered a relatable glimpse into how Yale’s smart security solutions seamlessly integrate into everyday living, reinforcing the brand’s vision of making connected, intuitive protection part of modern Filipino homes.

The Yale Luna Elite+ takes center stage as Yale’s flagship smart lock, setting a new benchmark for modern home security. Blending advanced biometrics with refined, contemporary design, it is engineered not just as a security device but as a statement piece for the home. What makes the Luna Elite+ truly distinctive are its next-generation access features — FaceScan and PalmScan. Powered by 3D structured light technology, FaceScan enables fast, accurate, and touchless recognition in under a second, while PalmScan reads unique vein patterns through a simple gesture, offering a highly secure and almost impossible-to-replicate form of authentication. These features deliver a seamless, contactless entry experience that stands apart from conventional smart locks.

Beyond its cutting-edge access capabilities, the Yale Luna Elite+ is designed to elevate everyday living. It supports multiple entry options including fingerprint, RFID, PIN code, mechanical key, and mobile control via the Yale Home App, ensuring flexibility for every type of user. A built-in screen allows homeowners to view visitors in real time, complemented by two-way communication and motion detection alerts for added awareness and control. Its smart dual-battery system ensures continuous operation, reinforcing reliability alongside innovation. Isabel praised the lock’s functionality, noting how its contactless features make it both fun and hygienic—especially practical for families with children.Another practical solution for the household is the Yale Uno. Designed for simplicity, also integrates a fingerprint sensor directly into the lever handle, enabling users to unlock and open the door in one seamless motion. It supports PIN, RFID, and key access, catering to different comfort levels with technology. With features such as Panic Mode for instant full security, Passage Mode for easy movement during gatherings, and a weather-resistant build, the Yale Uno delivers reliable, everyday protection in a clean, modern form. Isabel also tried the RFID function of the Yale Uno, allowing her to assign RFID cards to the kids for easy and secure access at home.

The Yale YDL325 Series introduces intelligent access to interior spaces such as bedrooms, home offices, and private storage areas. With its sleek Square (YDL325S) and Circle (YDL325C) variants, the YDL325 combines style with convenience through plug-in installation that requires no complex modifications. It enables quick and secure entry via fingerprint, app control, or key, while its compact design and status indicators ensure it blends naturally into any home environment. The result is a more cohesive and secure living space, where every room can be protected with ease.

Completing Aya and Isabel’s tour in the bedroom of the Smart Yale Home is the Yale Solis Safe Series (Yale Solis 230L, 250, 400, and 560), designed to safeguard life’s most valuable possessions. Built with laser-cut precision and reinforced by solid locking bolts, each safe offers robust physical protection complemented by modern access options such as fingerprint recognition, PIN code, and dual authentication. Inside, LED lighting enhances visibility, while external backup options ensure access is never compromised. Crafted from durable steel and finished with a multi-layer coating system, the Solis safes are engineered to withstand both time and environmental conditions, making them a dependable storage solution for documents, heirlooms, and personal valuables.

Aya also shared a data-driven look at the accelerating adoption of smart home technology in the country. Citing global and regional projections, she noted that the Philippine smart home market is expected to reach approximately USD 350 million by 2030, with smart security solutions—particularly smart locks—growing at an estimated 7.4% annually. And by 2029, more than half of Filipino households are projected to adopt at least one smart home device, signaling a clear shift from traditional setups to more connected, app-enabled lifestyles. Today, millions of Filipinos already use smart devices at home, reflecting a growing demand for solutions that offer not just protection, but also convenience and real-time control.
Against this backdrop, Yale is strengthening its position as a trusted yet forward-looking brand in the Philippines, bridging its 180-year heritage with modern innovation. Aya emphasized that while many new entrants are entering the smart home space, Yale stands out by combining proven security expertise with user-friendly technology and design that fits seamlessly into everyday life. Through its expanding portfolio, from entry-level smart locks to premium biometric systems and integrated home solutions, Yale is making smart security more accessible across different household needs and price points. Supported by strong retail partnerships and nationwide availability, Yale continues to build confidence among Filipino consumers who are looking for reliable, intuitive, and well-designed upgrades for their homes. The event brought together key partners, media, and lifestyle and tech personalities to witness Yale’s latest innovations firsthand—marking a significant step in making smart home security more accessible in the Philippines. As guests were given a hands-on experience of these innovations through the immersive Smart Yale Home, tech personality PJ Icogo, founder of GizGuide, also shared insights on smart home integration, emphasizing how Yale’s solutions fit seamlessly into modern digital lifestyles. He highlighted the role of the Yale Home App as the central hub that connects these devices, allowing homeowners to remotely lock and unlock doors, manage access for family members or guests, and monitor activity in real time. With features such as customizable access schedules, instant notifications, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, the app enables users to stay in control whether they are at home or away, making everyday security more intuitive, flexible, and connected.
