Photography: Day 19 |Grey

At the end of our shift from work the sun rises. I rarely get someone in front of my camera(in this case, the phone)which may be unrelated. So, I have my co-worker Grey that was walking along the window back to his work station. I asked him to sit by the window and look camera left and that’s how I got this shot. I thought I’d try shooting someone on the foreground while exposing the background properly. It appeared, soft and grainy for me.

When shooting with Huawei P9 on Manual mode, and working with a RAW file, blurring the background is next to impossible, it will give you a clear image upon converting it. If you want to blur the image in-shot shoot in Aperture mode on the P9.

The blur effect on this image is done in post processing in Lightroom CC. My trial period is about to end and I’m really thinking whether I will continue using the app and pay for their subscription. We’ll see.
