While most students are probably dreading the approaching month of June – there is definitely something to look forward to and that is Midnight Meeting’s Pwede Ba Music Video and Acoustic EP Launch! (Yeheeeeeey!!!)
And in our continued efforts to promote OPM music PCheng Photography will be there to cover the event – through photos and blogging as always. 🙂
The Launch will be on June 4, 2013 at Route 196 in Katipunan. Click the link for their FB page and directions 🙂
There is definitely A LOT in store for you guys when you drop by the event since there will also be performances from these amazing bands!
Aside from the awesome performances lined up you also get the chance to bring home a copy of their Acoustic EP as well as get an exclusive Midnight Meetings T- shirt! There are only 26 shirts that will be sold so be sure to come early to get one!
If you want to get a preview of ‘Pwede Ba?’ check it out on their Soundcloud page here!
While Midnight Meetings is a very nice change to my usual noisy punk-rock alternative playlists they describe their music as: ‘Alternative Soul Music with an Attitude’ and I couldn’t agree more. Their music is a great way to wind down and relax, listen to it in the car or while out on errands. It is the stuff of great sound trips and something that we can be proud to call Original Pinoy Music.
Bands say that they have a ‘personal touch’ to their music, albums, EPs and what not but for Midnight Meetings it literally is a personal touch since the guys each have had their own contribution when it came to physical output (packaging) of the EP.
They recently posted this photo of a first look into their EP. The guys personally had a hand in packaging the EP, even having an assembly line! I also confirmed with them that each of them had their own task in putting it together.
Wow! I’m really impressed and can I just say I love how the EP is looking, check the EP art plus I’m loving the purple motif and there’s an envelope! ^_^
Keep in mind guys that the EPs are LIMITED only and it’s a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis! So make sure you come early on June 4, 2013 at Route 196. Gates open at 7:00PM!
