Is a powerful film (don’t wear eye-make up, bring tissue) which directly examines our society, the rules with which we let ourselves be governed by and the machinations that go behind bending those rules only to serve the privileged and the ones in power.
One of the reasons I love watching films is discovering stories like these. Then comes the inspiration to echo out their lessons.
Let me end with the quote “to whom much is given, much is expected” and we’re lucky that Bryan Stevenson (Michael B. Jordan) did just that.
