Benedict, and Jonathan Pryce as Pope Francis, is an intimate story of one of the most dramatic transitions of power in the last 2,000 years. For a story rich in quiet moments and intelligent dialogue, The Two Popes has a lot of light-hearted scenes that will leave audiences feeling uplifted as the end credits start to roll.

You: Season 2 (Streaming on December 26)

Joe may be in a new state, but expect the same amount of sexy-funny wit and sarcasm that made us
fall in love with him while at the same time condemning the things he’s done. While hiding from his ex, Candace, in LA (we cannot wait to hear Joe’s internal monologues, delivered with perfection by Penn Badgley, about sunny and chirpy LA), Joe vows to make a fresh start and be good, this time hopefully with the right woman.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSES:

The Irishman

Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s THE IRISHMAN, an epic saga of
organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.

Dead Kids

A socially awkward teen bonds with a group of misfits who plot to take out the school’s arrogant rich kid — until their kidnapping scheme turns deadly. Based on true events. Dead Kids is directed by award-winning director, Mikhail Red, who is known for his internationally acclaimed films ‘Birdshot,’ and ‘Eerie,’ — both of which are also streaming on Netflix.

“I have always wanted to make a film about the complexities of my generation. I wanted to expose the entitlement and insecurities of a generation growing up in a country of extreme social disparity but cleverly package it as pop entertainment. For me, Dead Kids is a story of young lives running wild yet cut short with their potentials unfulfilled. It is a crime story in the age of social media and a bleak vision of the Filipino youth’s psyche. It is a commentary on the youth’s views on masculinity, morality, and vigilante justice paralleled with today’s political climate. It is both a coming-of-age story and a cautionary tale for the builders of our future,” said director Mikhail.

The cast is composed of several young actors including Sue Ramirez, Khalil Ramos, Markus Paterson, Vance Larena, alongside rising young stars Kelvin Miranda, Gabby Padilla, and Jan Silverio. The film is produced by Globe Studios.

Marriage Story

MARRIAGE STORY is Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach’s incisive and
compassionate portrait of a marriage breaking up and a family staying together. The film stars Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver, Laura Dern, Alan Alda, and Ray Liotta co-star.

6 Underground

What’s the best part of being dead?
It isn’t escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record.
The best part about being dead… is the freedom.
The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you “no.”

6 Underground introduces a new kind of action hero. Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future. The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Ryan Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will.

Crash Landing On You

CRASH LANDING ON YOU is a love story of an oddly-matched couple because they come from such
different backgrounds. Yoon Se-ri, played by Son Ye-jin, is a beautiful heiress and a leading fashion businesswoman in South Korea, meets North Korean military officer Lee Jung-hyeok, played by Hyun Bin, when she is swept up by a wind storm and accidentally crashes in North Korean territory while paragliding.

The Witcher

Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, THE WITCHER is an epic tale of fate and family. The story of the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified.

The Two Popes

From Fernando Meirelles, the Academy Award-nominated director of “City of God,” and three-time Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Anthony McCarten, comes an intimate story of one of the most dramatic transitions of power in the last 2,000 years. Frustrated with the direction of the church, Cardinal Bergoglio (Jonathan Pryce) requests permission to retire in 2012 from Pope Benedict (Anthony Hopkins). Instead, facing scandal and self-doubt, the introspective Pope Benedict summons his harshest critic and future successor to Rome to reveal a secret that would shake the foundations of the Catholic Church. Behind Vatican walls, a struggle commences between both tradition and progress, guilt and forgiveness, as these two very different men confront elements from their pasts in order to find common ground and forge a future for a billion followers around the world.
