PHILIPPINES, JULY 7, 2026 – HBO Original Fired Up!, staring Eric Chou and Angela Yuen, is set to debut on Friday, July 31 on HBO Max, with new episodes on subsequent Fridays. Fans can look forward to the series closing theme song, “Shells” written and performed by Eric Chou, as well as new original soundtrack collaborations, “After Everything” by Pets Tseng and “Dream Light” by Yo Lee.
Adapted from the popular Kakao Webtoon comic “Itaewon Class” created by Gwangjin, the highly-anticipated 12-episode is a coming-of-age drama series by production house, DaMou Entertainment in Taiwan and follows Chou Lu-yung (played by Eric Chou) on a quest to uncover the truth behind his father’s tragic death while fighting to preserve his family’s eatery, “Jin Lai Hao,” alongside his friends.
The star-studded cast includes Mandopop sensation, Eric Chou in his first lead role in a drama series as Chou Lu-yung, Angela Yuen as Chao Yi-hsuan, Shao Yu-wei as Wu Hsiu-wen, Wang Shih-hsien as Chang Ta-chin, Akira Huang as Lin Chin-nan, Cosmos Lin as Ma Yu-li, Sean Lin as Chang Chien-yuan, and Ben Wu as Chang Chien-wu.
Produced by DaMou Entertainment, the series is developed by Chien Li-ying, produced by Jayde Lin, Leo Chiang and Lin Shiang-ling, and directed by Kao Pin-chuan and Tseng Ying-ting.
